About Us

Our
Story
At 24 Hour Sailing we provide sailing instruction for new sailors looking to crew on boats, buy a boat or improve their existing boating skills. Jeff started sailing at age 6 in San Francisco Bay with his brother. Since then he attended Orange Coast College's fantastic sailing program - dinghies, larger monohulls and an SORC race winner.

Jeff started crewing on race boats - was bow man on the J35 that won Long Beach Race Week, bow man on a Swan 44 on the "Around Catalina Island" offshore race, and crewing on 80 other boats. He started buying and racing his own boats and training crew.

Then Jeff built a catamaran in France, sailed it throughout the Mediterranean, across the Atlantic Ocean, throughout the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal.

Jeff has sailed in Tahiti, the Pacific Northwest and up into Canada. He has a US Coast Guard 50 Ton Masters License and is currently working on an upgrade to 100 Ton.
